Senior Product Manager
Detalhes do emprego
We’re on the look out for a Senior Product Manager to join Tracksuit. The role You’ll own the Tracksuit customer journey : the way people purchase, set-up, onboard, upsell and renew Tracksuit. This is a growth-focused role responsible for driving revenue. Over the last 2 years, we’ve scaled from ~5 people to 70+, and grown from ~$1m in ARR to over $12m. And there’s lots more growth to come. We’re looking for someone who can own the growth strategy and problem-space, but also own the execution of that strategy. This is not your run-of-the-mill product role: you have high agency to find the problems that will drive revenue, but you also have accountability to deliver business outcomes. We’re a small Product and Engineering team with 2x Product managers, 2x Designers, 14x Engineers, and 2x Data Scientists. When you join our team, you’ll have a huge impact on the culture, ways of working and the overall trajectory of Tracksuit.
What are we looking for?
- We want to hear from people with 4+ years experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS business who are curious and empathetic
- Based in Auckland (or willing to relocate to Auckland), where our product, design, and engineering function is based.
- Can add to our product culture : we’re still a growing company (~70 people), and we want someone who can be an advocate for product internally.
- Business results: Focused on having an impact on business results — not just shipping features. Comfortable working in a start-up environment.
- Customer and UX focused: Is comfortable talking to customers and running a discovery process. Has an eye for beautiful, simple UX.
- Kind : This is such a collaborative role that we ultimately want a great, kind human.
- Commercial: has a strong commercial sense for identifying growth opportunities and can collaborate with sales and marketing teams
- Experiment-driven : able to take bests and test hypotheses early and often to avoid analysis paralysis. Is able to identify and manage risks.
- Growth experience: Bonus points if you’ve done work improving a customer journey or been in growth-focused roles.
We think this role is particularly exciting because:
- You get to be hands-on: talking to customers, doing discovery, sitting alongside engineers and designers, and implementing solutions.
- We don’t have a pre-existing strategy around our customer journey or growth model: that’s up to you to collectively define.
- Our product managers have high-level business goals and a clear domain to go and deliver on those goals.
- Tracksuit is design-led: we care deeply about simple, beautiful UX. The whole organisation understands the value of product and design. They push us (the Product team) to uphold these standards.
- We have really engaged customers who want to build with Tracksuit. They’re eager to give us feedback and be part of the journey.
- We’re backed by product-legend Lenny Rachitsky: founder of Lenny’s Podcast and Lenny’s Newsletter. In Lenny’s words: “Across the thousands of startup decks I've looked at, I've almost never seen a growth trajectory like the growth Tracksuit has seen.”
- We don’t have a roadmap dictated to us: we’re empowered to find the problems that are worth solving.
- We have a joint partnership with design and engineering: we believe the best outcomes come from bringing in design and engineering early, getting them close to the problem (not just the solution).
- We make the process fun: we may or may not have recorded one of our recent product release updates in Shrek + Donkey costumes.
