JOB PURPOSE Support the VP, Employee Relations in managing end-to-end line advisory, disciplinary proceedings, industrial court matters, performance improvement plan, employee’s welfare, union management, policy and guideline reviews and risk/compliance requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS

  • Assist with handling the overall IR/Governance framework to support and promote harmonious industrial relations in the company.
  • Maintain register of IR and Governance matters
  • Analyze and evaluate reports on disciplinary cases and grievances for dashboard
  • Assist to research and act as touchpoint on IR to the business to ensure all parties are inducted appropriately and sufficiently educated of Labor laws rules and regulations.
  • Assist to liaising/coordination with legal officers, unions and government agencies.
  • Assist with market benchmarking and coordinating matters related to the collective agreements (CA) on behalf of the company.
  • Assist to prepare slides and report for induction/presentations/management meetings.
HR GOVERNANCE
  • Assist to review and draft policies and guidelines in accordance with the company’s policies and statutory regulations to ensure effective and efficient processes and conducive working environment for all. (i.e. OSH, IRA, EA, TUA)
  • Provision of advisory and support in relation to the Company’s governance/policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, legal requirements and policies.
BUSINESS RISK COMPLIANCE
  • Review and assist on compliance and risk related matters for Talent/HR to ensure compliance with the company’s compliance & risk policies.
  • Assist with the design and conduct of annual compliance health checks for Talent/HR to ensure compliance and to minimize / mitigate risk.
  • Assist the VP, ER on compliance, risk and business continuity assessments for Talent/HR in terms of review and exercise completion.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4-5 years or working experience in IR/ER related field
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Law/HR/Business, any related field
  • Well-versed in Labour Law / Regulations
