Role Overview: As a Senior Corporate Lawyer at M365Connect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our legal strategy, ensuring compliance across all areas of operation, and safeguarding our company against legal risks. This is a remote, full-time position that requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and legally astute professional who thrives in a dynamic, cross-border work environment. Key Responsibilities:- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents and contracts with clients, freelancers, and partners.
- Provide strategic legal guidance on corporate governance, employment law, and international business transactions.
- Manage legal aspects of corporate finance, including compliance with financial regulations.
- Oversee intellectual property rights, ensuring protection and compliance.
- Handle dispute resolution and litigation management efficiently.
- Advise on data protection laws, privacy, and cybersecurity matters relevant to remote operations.
- Liaise with external counsel and regulatory authorities as needed.
- Stay abreast of legislative changes that may impact the company's operations across different jurisdictions.
- Juris Doctor or equivalent legal qualification, with a license to practice law.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably with exposure to the IT recruitment industry.
- Strong understanding of international business law, employment law, and contract law.
- Proficiency in managing legal issues in a remote work environment, including understanding regulations in Latvia, Pakistan, and African countries.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and drafting skills.
- Proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
