APAC Network Development Senior Scientist

Job Description: Role: APAC Network Development Senior Scientist Location: Gurgaon/Hyderabad Job Purpose: The MGS Laboratories APAC Network Development Senior Scientist is responsible for conducting technical projects to develop and maintain a capable laboratory network within the APAC region, ensuring compliance to Mars standards for quality and service and ensuring an effective testing service for incident response. Key Responsibilities: • Develop strong relationships with laboratory users in all segments to understand local testing needs • Support the Laboratory Incident Management Process and support business incidents to ensure timely testing support to our customers • Identifies and develops external laboratory partners within the region to ensure rapid access to essential methods within the region. • Executes audits at laboratories to ensure compliance, identify risks, and ensure their mitigation through effective corrective action management • Ensures the timely reporting of MGS Laboratories global metrics across the laboratory network • Identifies and acts on opportunities for service improvement with stakeholders and develops action plans to address these • Provides consultancy support to regional stakeholders (e.g., Factories, Product Development, Global Innovation Centers, SQA) on analytical questions and for the use of the consultancy platform (ServiceNow)• Provides expert investigatory support for any serious laboratory concerns or data outliers (for example PT outlier investigations, cross-contamination events, LISP)• Act as the conduit to the wider MGS Laboratories expertise network • Provide guidance on regionally required/preferred analysis methods • Provides technical advice on test methods for Material Risk Assessment (MRA)• Provides technical mentorship and knowledge transfer in relevant fields (Microbiology or Chemistry)• Support the development of export routes for samples for testing that cannot be sourced within the local country/region. Job Specifications/Qualifications: 1. Education & Professional Qualification Essential: -Degree level qualification in Microbiology or Chemistry Desired: -Lead Auditor trained 2.
