Software Architect - PHP Laravel, React.js, AWS

NorthBay is seeking an experienced Software Architect with a strong background in PHP Laravel, React.js, and AWS, along with a solid understanding of MySQL RDS or MySQL Aurora. The ideal candidate will have 12 to 14 years of experience in software development, with expertise in architecting and implementing scalable, cloud-native applications using serverless architecture and microservices. Location: Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 12 to 14 years of experience in software development, with a focus on PHP Laravel, React.js, and AWS.
• Deep expertise in PHP Laravel framework, including experience with advanced features such as service providers, facades, eloquent ORM, and middleware.
• Strong proficiency in React.js for building dynamic and interactive user interfaces.
• Extensive experience with AWS services, particularly EC2 auto-scaling, RDS (MySQL), and AWS Lambda.
• Solid understanding of MySQL database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of complex software solutions using PHP Laravel, React.js, and other relevant technologies.
• Design and optimize MySQL databases, leveraging AWS RDS or MySQL Aurora for scalability and high availability.
• Architect and implement cloud-native applications on AWS, utilizing EC2 auto-scaling, AWS Lambda, and other relevant services.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure serverless architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to define technical requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Communicate effectively with clients, understanding their needs and translating them into technical solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in software architecture and development, particularly in the PHP Laravel and React.js ecosystems.
