Job Requirements
- B.S.C. in business administration or management or any related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in purchasing.
- Mechanical background specifically in spare parts (preferred)
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and pricing.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Stay current with industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the procurement team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
