The Opportunity: As a Regional Business Development & Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for developing relationships with distributors to drive sales and achieve distribution targets. You will oversee distributor operations, implement sales strategies, and provide support to ensure the successful promotion and distribution of our products. This role requires strong communication skills, marketing acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors to ensure alignment with company objectives and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Implement development plans and marketing activities to drive product distribution and achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Monitor the expenditure of marketing funds by distributors. Maintain a comprehensive system for tracking and managing marketing funds allocated to distributors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, finance and supply chain to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Provide training and support to distributors on operation procedures, product knowledge, sales techniques, and marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing sourcing/ onboarding materials for new and potential distributors including but not limited to product datasheet, marketing resources and operational guidance.
  • Assist in preparing regular reports and analysis on sales performance, market share, and distribution metrics.
  • Act as a liaison between distributors and internal teams to facilitate communication and resolve any issues or disputes.
  • Other Ad hoc duties as assigned
What You Will Need to Succeed:
  • Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Business Studies, Marketing or related field.
  • Experience in distributor marketing and management. Knowledge of supply chain principles and processes considered advantageous.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia 
  • Fluency in additional languages such as Mandarin, Thai, Vietnamese, or Spanish considered advantageous. 
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skill
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
