Manage Trading and Procurement activities for different Agri commodities like wheat, corn, barley (soybean, rapeseed exposure shall be an additional advantage) in line with overall business objectives and generate a competitive advantage through an optimized supplier base. Manages procurement transaction processes and inventory/procurement records, provide location procurement support and planning, manage supplier events and relationships, implement sourcing strategies resource and budget management. Essential exposure to wheat procurement globally and be able to deploy hedging strategies that would protect positions.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage assigned country's timely Supply of IFFCO's assets with the required grain & oilseeds volumes.
Assist and advise on grains & oilseeds price forecasts, hedging strategies and for pricing all long-term contract customers.
Negotiating the optimal contract terms with suppliers to protect the assets rights.
Screening and optimization of all logistics costs.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 12-15 years experience in commodity procurement, trading, and merchandising,with at least 3-5 years in FMCG organization preferred.
Up to 20% travel - to conferences, supplier events and locations.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to leverage purchasing opportunities across a large and complex organization.
Technical knowledge and experience purchasing and / or selling commodities and managing trading book independently.
