About the job

Role: Application Assurance Specialist

Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:

Implement an IT Governance & Risk Frameworks which drives the implementation of good practice and continuous improvement in IT governance & Risk measurement.

Develop, implement, and optimize IT processes. Establish and govern metrics and reporting mechanisms for assessing security, privacy, and compliance risks across the organization.

Continually identify, assess and reduce current and emerging Technology risks to be within tolerance levels set by ADIB group Enterprise Risk.

Key Accountabilities of the role:

Develop framework to align Technology decisions to the Business Strategy and organization culture

Responsible to streamline, optimize, maintain & update Technology Department processes and documentation. Develop/Update Technology processes for Cloud Readiness.

Implement/Maintain Technology Governance Framework.

Define & Develop IT Risk Management framework to help ensure consistent risk management decisions.

Develop IT Risk Management policy and procedure. Embed IT risk management practices in all ITD operational processes and activities.

Integrate the management of Technology risks into ADIB Operational risk management procedure.

Direct the establishment of IT risk management practices to provide assurance that Technology risk management practices are effective and that they don't exceed ADIB Group's risk appetite.

Optimize and manage central repository, enable process modeling notation, BPMN inline to ADIB environment.

Align the Technology processes and standards with International Standards and National Regulations including but not limited to ISO27001, ISO9001, ISO2000, PCI-DSS, and NESA.

Maintain the respective IMS certifications.

Manage and drive Technology Governance performance measurement.

Ensure generation, review and delivery in a timely and accurate way of periodic reports for the department performance.

Manage and deliver Technology Governance and Performance related assigned projects.

Ensure Information security awareness eLearning trainings; Awareness sessions on specific Technology processes are conducted for all Technology staff.

Acquire knowledge on industry best practices through global accreditations like CGEIT, ITIL4 Expert, CISA, Cloud Security, CISSP, PMP and Digital Transformation, to implement and enhance ADIB IT Governance.
