Looking for a Logistics Manager in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Job Key Details:
Develop and implement effective strategies to optimize the supply chain management process
Manage and oversee the entire logistics operations, including procurement, transportation, warehousing as well as inventory management
Plan and schedule the distribution of goods, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers or designated locations
Analyze and select suitable vendors and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, anticipating demand and ensuring adequate stock availability
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to assess logistics performance and identify areas for improvement
Oversee the maintenance and utilization of transportation equipment and facilities to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards
Train and mentor logistics team members, providing guidance, support as well as performance feedback
Conduct any other related tasks as may be required
