Eram Talent is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Officer - Civil & Marine to join our team. As a Senior Procurement Officer - Civil & Marine at Eram Talent, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement activities related to civil and marine projects. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement in the construction industry, as well as excellent negotiation and project management skills. If you have a proven track record in procurement within the civil and marine sectors, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of Eram Talent.Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies specific to civil and marine projects. Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and establish contracts. Collaborate with project teams to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance and support. Ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services required for civil and marine projects. Monitor and track supplier performance, resolve any issues, and take corrective actions as necessary. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and implement best practices in procurement for civil and marine projects. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior procurement officers. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum 12 years of experience in procurement within the civil and marine sectors. Strong knowledge of procurement principles, processes, and best practices in construction projects. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proven track record in managing procurement activities for civil and marine projects. Ability to analyze project requirements, interpret technical specifications, and evaluate supplier proposals. Proficiency in procurement software and tools. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with project teams and stakeholders. Previous experience in a senior procurement role is preferred.
