This role involves overseeing a team of highly skilled quant traders, developing advanced trading strategies, and ensuring the alignment of these strategies with the firm's overall objectives. The position calls for a visionary leader who can maintain the firm's standing at the forefront of the quantitative trading field.Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of quantitative traders, promoting an environment of continuous learning and innovation.Develop, implement, and refine quantitative trading strategies, integrating the latest statistical and machine learning techniques.Collaborate closely with the technology team to enhance trading systems and infrastructure, optimizing for maximum efficiency and performance.Manage risk effectively, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk management protocols.Perform in-depth market research to identify new trading opportunities and inform strategic decisions.Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and clients.Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to inform strategic planning.Foster professional development within the team, providing opportunities for growth and advancement.Qualifications:Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.At least 10 years of experience in quantitative trading, with a proven track record in a leadership role.Demonstrated expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and algorithmic trading.Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, C++, or similar.Comprehensive understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and risk management.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong leadership and communication abilities.
