Job Description:The Junior Landscape Architect will work closely with the Landscape Design Manager and assist in the development and implementation of landscape design projects. They will contribute to the creation of aesthetically pleasing and functional landscaped environments, land developments, and public parks. Will be involved in various stages of the design process, from concept development to construction documentation, under the guidance and supervision of Sr landscape Architects and the Landscape Design Manager.Shall possess strong technical skills, solid design sense and be able to work with all aspects of a project, schematic through construction administration.This position requires a high level of design, supporting Senior Landscape Architect in all aspects of the process.Job descriptionAid in the production of design packages at different stages, following contractual obligations and related deliverables.Assist in ensuring that designs are compatible with the urban environment and comply with relevant codes, standards, regulations, and local authority requirements.Collaborate with internal and external design organizations to develop approved project designs.Monitor the progress of design delivery, identify areas for improvement, and help resolve outstanding issues.Collaborate with the design team and contribute to effective project deliveryWork under the guidance of experienced Architects and contract staff to gain valuable industry knowledge and skills.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.Minimum of 2-3 years related experienceKnowledge of landscape design principles, construction techniques, and materials.Proficiency in design software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3d, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to landscape design.Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality design deliverables.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, following instructions and seeking guidance when needed.A passion for landscape architecture and a willingness to learn and grow in the field.Professional association or currently working towards associationMinimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
