Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia's new national airline is looking for global talent to build on our ambition to be the World's most inspiring airline with an exceptional guest experience.JOB PURPOSEAs Manager - Aircraft Programs/New Aircraft Configurations, you will play a crucial role in managing the Aircraft Program from order through the life cycle of the program.Your primary purpose is to provide technical guidance for the specification, selection, development and on-time completion/delivery of aircraft configurations, options and materials that meets international/local certification regulations and the commercial and operational needs of the airline.By leveraging your technical mindset, problem solving skills, previous experience, and expertise, you will contribute to achieving the organization's objectives of maintaining a modern, innovative, reliable and cost-effective fleet while supporting the overall success of the company. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESComplete Aircraft Development Process - (Specification, Configuration, Development and Delivery)Manage and oversee the engineering design and development of specific cabin programs to ensure on-time, within budget and in accordance with the scope.Collaboration with internal and external StakeholdersProgram review status reportingHighly skilled in delivering the project and escalation for any identified risks and highlighting the unknown risks based on the supplier's previous experiences.Minimize the cost incurred by challenging the OEMs and BFE suppliers.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEMinimum 8 years' experience in airline CAMO/ tech services, Aircraft Programs/New Aircraft Configurations, certification engineer (CVE, FAA DER) OR relevantexperience with aerospace supplier or OEM Proven experience in supporting and delivering aircraft line-fit or retrofit projects and working with crossfunctional teams. Previous experience in authoring SBs, mechanical design, stress analysisProven ability in supplier management and working with OEMs and MRO'sACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in mechanical/aeronautical/aerospace engineering PMP certified will be beneficial.LEAN Six SigmaSKILLSLEAN Six Sigma certificationPMP certificationPrevious program management experienceAffiliation to engineering council (local or international)Experienced in Boeing and Airbus PortalCOMPETENCIESDrives ResultsCommunicates EffectivelyTeamwork and CollaborationStrategic MindsetCultivates Innovation
