If this appeals to you, please read on!Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer, Staff Location: Coimbatore or BangaloreResponsibilitiesDesign and development of electromechanical modules and systems to meet product functional specifications. Research and specify OEM parts, and sub-systems, and review design solutions with the remote engineering team. Create detailed schematics, system interconnect diagrams, cable/harness drawings, and BOMs for electrical modules. Guide peer engineers, technicians, and product support team in troubleshooting electrical system issues.Support the standardized implementation of electrical parts libraries, design templates, and BKMs.Effective teamwork with engineers and cross-functional managers in support of project deliverables. Requirements & SkillsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required. Master's degree in power, instrumentation, or control systems is a plus.5-7+ years of relevant industrial experience (aerospace, industrial process, power, or semiconductor) is required.Hands-on proficiency in SolidWorks, and AutoCAD to create design documents and ECO releases.Good knowledge of AC/DC power distribution circuits and panels design, and real-time industrial PLC systems for vacuum, pressure, thermal, and motion control. Experience in the design of safety interlocks is a plus.Experience in the design, programming, and testing of robotic wafer handling systems is desirable.Knowledge of UL and IEC/NFPA standards applicable to electrical design. Familiarity with NRTL, CE, and SEMI Regulatory Compliance requirements in capital equipment design. Good written, and verbal communication in English.
