Job Description:Oracle Cerner Database Infrastructure, OHAI team looking for reliable Database Administrator to Join the team. Candidate will be part of Database Infrastructure team as Database Administrator III. As a Database Administrator III, you will be responsible for managing Cerner's hosted health care Databases (Prod & Non-Prod), responsible for Perform basic database monitoring and capacity management. Triage database alerts and issues, identify root cause, and implement corrective action, responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the healthcare Non-production, Standby, Golden Gate and Production database. Set up and maintain database backups. Monitor and maintain database replication. Apply database software updates and stand-alone hotfixes to client environments Communicate with 3rd party software or hardware manufactures as needed to ensure optimal configuration and support. Candidate should have good knowledge on Oracle Database architecture, Backup and Recovery, Data Guard, Real Application Clusters, ASM, Data pump, Patching, Performance and SQL Tuning. Develop standardized work plans, documentation, processes, and automation. Willing to work additional hours as needed and allowed by local regulations, mentor the entry level DBA's. Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree/master's degree (Information Technology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Computer Software/Electronics/Operational Research/Computer System Engineering)At least 3+ years of experience as Oracle DBAOperating systems (OS) and RDBMS technologies work experienceAt least 3+ years of experience in RAC, ASM, Oracle Restart Data-Guard and Oracle 11g & relevant experience in Oracle 19c.Experience in Monitoring Production Database using OEM tool.Having DevOps/SRE mindset and related experienceExperience in Oracle Cloud infrastructure services and Concepts Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a Development and prod database (Oracle) activity.Experience (3+ years) managing production databases running on UNIX flavors (RHEL, OEL).Knowledge in Unix Shell ScriptingKnowledge in SQL Performance Tuning and Database Performance Tuning Concepts and methodologies PRB
