Role and Responsibilities:Create architectural designs and concepts based on client input and feedbackInterpret and apply building codes and requirements of other regulatory agenciesPrepare and revise documentation in various architectural phases including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, and detailsCoordinate building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure compatibility with the design intentTo check own work for accuracy and completeness and manage time to meet project budget and scheduleTo collaborate and deliver through all phases of architectural document productionModify designs to meet the changing needs of the clientCommunicate with contractors and construction workers to implement design changes in the fieldAttend project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultantsMust Haves:Ability to function independently yet communicates laterally and upwardly with easeExcellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and coordinate complex issuesExperience in handling projects with diverse and multiple internal/external stakeholders is crucialExcellent communication and Stakeholder Management is essentialManage work and deliver within a dynamic environmentExperience and Skills:Proven architectural working experience of 3-5 yearsGood knowledge and application of accessibility codes and applicable building codesGood understanding of all phases of architectural documentationAbility to conduct space planning, block planning, and adjacencies in coordination with the building programExtensive experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft OfficeBachelors Degree in Architecture is a mustNote:This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the responsibilities and requirements of the position.
