With our team of professionals who have extensive domain and technical knowledge, we are committed to making long-term efforts to fulfil this vision through our technical innovation, client services, expertise, and capability expansion.  Role Summary: We are actively seeking a consultant, who has experience in coal-fired power plant (CFPP)/ Renewable Energy(RE) sector(s) to become an integral part of our team, bringing their expertise as a subject matter expert to contribute towards the creation of a cutting-edge product. The ideal candidate should have a solid grasp on financial analysis, investment assessment, risk management, project financing, financial modelling, strategic planning of RE along with knowledge of CFPP.  Key Tasks & Accountability : Develop and execute a comprehensive transition strategy from CFPP to renewable energy, considering factors like technology selection, financing options, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement. Conduct feasibility studies and assess the potential for renewable energy generation, such as wind, solar, hydro, or geothermal. Conduct financial analyses to assess the economic viability of CFPP, low-carbon energy generation or renewable energy projects. Develop and maintain financial models to project cash flows, returns on investment, and financial performance under various scenarios. Good understanding of power purchase agreements (PPA) and their associated legal and regulatory aspects of it. Good Understanding of the Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) Market Evaluate investment opportunities related to CFPP transitioning projects, considering factors such as capital requirements, potential returns, and risk profiles. Assist in raising capital by coordinating with banks, financial institutions, and investors. Education and Experience: Domain expertise and qualifications include, but are not limited to: A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. A master's degree (MBA or similar) is often preferred. Relevant experience of at 1- 10 years in financial analysis, project finance, in energy sector finance, with a focus on CFPP/ Renewable Energy. Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools. Knowledge of the energy industry, especially CFPP and Renewable Energy operations and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Skills: Must have prior experience in an energy company mainly focusing on Coal-fired power plant or transition financing in Renewable sector. Good to have knowledge on climate bond like sustainability-linked bonds, etc. Possessing strategic foresight, robust technical and analytical proficiencies. Exhibiting adeptness in reporting and writing skills.  Personal Attributes:  A team player with good interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities. A self-motivator and a collaborative team player. Excellent time management skills and the ability to assume leadership roles when necessary. Agile, action oriented and a quick learner. Out of box thinker.  PRB
