Responsibilities• Use techniques, spreadsheets, databases and proprietarysoftware as necessary to perform safety study assessments andgenerate project deliverable documents, including production,checking and approval as required • Preparation of designdeliverables including philosophies, reports, studies,specifications, data sheets, drawings, etc whilst following allapplicable operational procedures • Coordinating andliaison with other engineering disciplines as necessary in thepreparation and development of the deliverables and ensuring thatother disciplines' input is incorporated •Ensure compliance with relevant specifications as well asapplicable national/ international regulations, codes and standards• Responsible for the review and approval of vendordocumentation as applicable to the discipline • EnsuringPurchasing and Estimating Departments have technical informationfor obtaining costs and availability of Technical Safety equipmentand materials • Maintain effective interfaces between theTechnical Safety project team and other disciplines'teams, Client representatives and other third parties as required• Represent the Technical Safety discipline internally andexternally on design issues they are involved in • Provideprogress reporting and forecasting input to the Lead TechnicalSafety Engineer as required • Follow standard workingprocedures and ensure that compliance with relevant QA/QC systemsis achieve
