Manager Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO)Industry : TelecommunicationsDescription :Last date to apply: 29th January 2024What is Manager EPMO?Manager Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), leads a team who is accountable for on time, in-budget delivery of business critical projects as defined in the overall organizational strategic plan. Manager EPMO, acquires resources and coordinates the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver enterprise-wide projects.Leads and motivates a team of Project Managers and support staff, develops and enhances enterprise-wide and internal project processes, and provides leadership throughout the entire lifecycle of required projects.The role reports directly to the Head of EPMO and has 02 people reporting directly into it.What does Manager EPMO do?Define, communicate, and execute the vision and strategies for effective portfolio, program and project management across the organization.Provide oversight and guidance to the EPMO team for the effective and timely execution of projects.Facilitate governance for the project portfolio and each individual project.Ensure compliance with Deodar policies and procedures required in support of local regulations.Create and implement an integrated change management plan based on PMI & Deodar methodology to successfully deliver a transformation initiative.Lead and facilitate change management and learning events with stakeholders, both in-person and virtual, as needed on an initiative.Design, manage, write, and deliver communications associated with an initiative.Provide periodic review of team member performance using both formal and informal mechanisms; mentor team members in best practices and provide skill development.Schedule and balance team activities to meet deadlines for deliverables and meetings.Developing risk management strategies and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Identifying and mitigating project-related risks to minimize potential disruptions.Continuously improving project management methodologies and processes based on industry best practices and lessons learned.Introducing innovative tools, techniques, or methodologies to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.Managing and coordinating multiple projects or programs to ensure efficient resource allocation and alignment with business goals.Promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the project management community.Manage and oversee department and enterprise project budgets.Keep leadership informed of changes related to new and ongoing projects within the organization; resolve and/or escalate project issues in a timely fashion.Deliver engaging, informative, and well-organized presentations.Supervise and lead a group of Enterprise Project Managers and support staff in Direct or Indirect capacity.Lead and manage assigned direct reports; Evaluate the Applications and EPMO department structures for continual improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of Team and Deodar, as well as ensuring team members have access to professional and personal growth within the organization.Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meeting in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others.Jazz is an equal opportunity employer.
