The affiliated Aga Khan University Hospital has well-equipped investigative services and provides state-of-the-art clinical facilities.ResponsibilitiesAKUH is in search of a Radiographer who will be responsible for executing prescribed radiological procedures with precision and expertise. This will include demonstrating clinical proficiency, ensuring equipment maintenance, and upholding stringent safety standards in collaboration with a dedicated team. Key responsibilities are:Executing radiological procedures as prescribed by clinicians.Demonstrating continual clinical proficiency in fluoroscopy, paediatrics, and diagnostic imaging.Exhibiting fundamental competencies in image processing, adept at identifying minor issues, and possessing the ability to address them effectively.Responding efficiently and collaborating seamlessly with the team during emergency situations.Ensuring the upkeep of relevant equipment and machinery. Making minor adjustments to systems when necessary and promptly reporting any faults or breakdowns to the supervisor.Conducting daily quality assurance activities.Providing patient education and preparatory information regarding pre/post radiological procedures.Adhering to safety protocols, including radiation safety for both patients and staff.Complying with departmental standards and practices.Requirements You should have: At least Intermediate in Science stream subjects; candidates having B.Sc. with a traineeship in Radiography from a recognized hospital will be preferred. Certification as a radiologic technologist/technician from a recognized institute. Preferably 1-2 years of experience as a Radiographer in Cath Lab. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
