Facility/Program:Carman Memorial Hospital Location:Carman Position Type:Full-Time Position Status:Fee For Service FTE:1.0 Hours of Work:Various hour shifts Union:Non-Union Start Date:To be determined Position SummaryFull time (Part time practices welcomed) Permanent Fee-for-service family practice with hospital privileges at the Carman Memorial Hospital https://www.southernhealth.ca/finding-care/carman/ . The Carman Community Health Centre is a modern and progressive facility complete with established EMR system and E-Chart Manitoba access. The facility is conveniently located adjacent to the Carman Memorial Hospital. The practice would include providing primary care services, in patient services and ER services (on call 1:5). Your practice would be supported by professional support staff and the practice is managed by the C.W. Wiebe Medical Corporation. The Carman Memorial Hospital is a 25 bed acute care centre with an active surgical program.The beautiful community of Carman http://www.carmanmanitoba.ca/ is well known for its superb recreational and educational services and conveniently located only 45 minutes west of Winnipeg.The medical centre is supported by the community and areas non-profit Carman Community Medical Centre Board.QualificationsTo provide emergency coverage at any acute care centre in the region you must have current ACLS and PALS certificationMust be eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.Given the cultural diversity of our region, the ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population is requiredDemonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the jobDemonstrated ability to respect confidentiality including paper, electronic formats and other mediumsProficiency of both official languages is essential for target and designated bilingual positionsSouthern Health-Santé Sud, in partnership with the Indigenous community, is committed to increasing the representation of Indigenous people within all levels of our workforce.
