General Manager (Food Industry)

Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Reporting to the CEO in Singapore, the incumbent will be responsible for the full spectrum of the following:

• Responsible for the overall achievement of revenue target and P&L
• Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintain a productive, cost-effective, safe and legal workplace.
• Drive the implementation and ensure compliance of all quality, safety and operational procedures in the business.
• Oversee operation, quality control, supply chain and act as facilitator across the various functions.
• Provide leadership to a team of staff and develop their strengths, skills and knowledge effectively.

Skills and Experience

• Degree in related field
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in food industry
• Good technical knowledge of food manufacturing operations
• Demonstrated financial acumen including planning and cost control capabilities.
• Experienced in supply chain, demand & forecast planning.
• Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese (to liaise with mandarin speaking customers and associates)

Other information

• Occasionally, needs to go to Singapore to attend management meeting
• Salary can be paid up to MYR20,000 depending on experience
