The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the planning, testing and execution of categories within eBay, laying foundations for future growth.Key Responsibilities:Reporting to the Head of Category, support the development and execution of category strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives to grow Enthusiast Buyers on eBay.Analyse sales data and track key performance metrics, monitor category and product trends and provide recommendation for future testing and business plans based on data insights.Support the development of test plans for buyer and seller pricing and marketing strategies.Work in close collaboration with the cross-functional teams, including marketing, seller teams, trust, shipping and finance to ensure that major initiatives, campaigns, and launches meet business objectives and deadlines.Conduct regular market and competitor analysis, implement SWOT analysis, and gather market intelligence from various sources.Ensure appropriate product content, attributes and images are factual, presented in a compelling manner and follow eBay policy.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.3+ years of experience in a commercial or category management role.Solid analytical, critical thinking, and project management skills.Clear and concise communication skills.Strong ability to collaborate on cross-functional teams.Strong ability to gather and analyse data to form insights and recommendations.If you're passionate about eCommerce and want to be part of the category strategy for eBay Australia, this is the role for you.
