The five pillars of our transformation focus on:Excellent Customer Experience and Service DeliveryGreat Organisational CultureInnovation and Continuous ImprovementGood Governance and IntegrityLong Term Financial SustainabilityThe role:The Leisure and Recreation Services Department's purpose is to empower, activate and connect our community.The position is responsible for ensuring a strong customer experience for internal and external stakeholders as well as coordinating and administering the Leisure and Recreation Services work program with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.About you:To be considered for this position you will have:Demonstrated leadership skills and change management skills in a demanding high profile and complex environment.Tertiary qualifications in Recreation, Leisure Studies, Planning, Project Management or a related discipline combined with corporate reporting, grant writing and program management experience.High level interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills including excellent customer service.Highly developed interpersonal, facilitation, consultation, negotiation and engagement skills, and the ability to problem solve.
