Senior Manager, Technical Product Sales - MTBL, East & Asia Newcastle, Newcastle, Maitland & Hunter NSWAccount & Relationship Management (Sales)We are seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Product Sales to join our Sales and Services East business line.The purpose of this role is to lead the Technical Product Sales team to drive profitable sales growth of the Material Transportation Business Line (MTBL) product offerings including Chute Solutions, Conveyor Solutions & Hauling Solutions within the Asia Pacific Market Area (MA).In this position, you will report directly to VP, Sales and Service Australia East.This position can be located in Brisbane or Newcastle. We are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options, however, it involves up to 50% of travel.This is a leadership position that requires strong stakeholder management skills, working closely with the Business Line Hub team and associated Product Lines. You will work closely with many stakeholders including Site Account Managers, internal Sales and Customer Service, Commercial team, as well as our clients.What you'll doLead, direct and support Technical Product Sales team to ensure that operational targets are achieved in line with plan and strategy.Performance manages under performance and coach/mentor to guide team to achieve desired behavioural and performance outcomes.Ensure sales forecasting and records are maintained to a high standard and report on a monthly basis.Be familiar with all products such as Chute Liners, Conveyor Belts & Components, Truck Bodies/Liners and value propositions - Have an intimate understanding of the marketplace expectations on product pricing, but understand 'value proposition selling' to maximize product marginsActs as a conduit between the Customer and the Product Lines to drive and support 'Go to Market' strategies, sales campaigns (product specific) and close gaps in value chain offerings to consolidate with Metso's overall offering.Identify and support development of LCS (Life Cycle Solutions) opportunities with MA's and Integrated Service Solutions (ISS) team to offer a commercially astute offering.Regularly attend sales steering meetings with relevant SAM (Site Account Manager)'s.Support customers with product know-how across Conveyor solutions, Chute solutions and Load & Haul Solutions.Technical design input and support to the Regional Hub team to support sales opportunities..Technical problem solving at customer's place of application.Engage with relevant product manager around available products and market feedback for product development across the product lines.A more detailed set of responsibilities can be provided during interview.Who you areExperience in mining, manufacturing, or service-related business.Experience with sales/fronting customers.Developing and implementing business growth strategies.Proficient with business systems including MS Suite, CRM (Salesforce), and Power BI (SAP experience a bonus).Sound technical understanding of chutes / wear linings, conveyor systems and loading & hauling applications.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Good time management, planning and organizational abilities - the ability to work autonomously.Strong communication skills, listening, oral and written with excellent interpersonal skills and exposure to an international working environment.Ability to coach, motivate and develop people.Ability to travel intrastate, interstate and overseas if required.What's in it for youA work environment where safety is always the number one priority - both your physical and mental health is our priority.A competitive base salary reflective of your skills and experience with annual incentive program.Additional Annual Leave benefit for all permanent and maximum term employees.Flexibility in your working lifestyle - our team manages their own balance of working from home and in our office environment.Gender Neutral Paid Parental Leave of 18 weeks at full pay.Paid Volunteer Leave so you can give back to the local community or an organisation of your choice.Active Social Club and companywide social events as your social wellness is important to us.Family focused events as your family forms part of our close-knit community.Comprehensive medical benefits including discounted private health insurance for employees and immediate family.Company provided Salary Continuance insurance cover.Career development & education assistance to further your technical and leadership ambitions.Get in touchWant to rise above the possible with us?
