You will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing security measures to protect EML's data onputer systems, networks and cloud environments according to the information security policies and framework that align with the business requirements. Your role will work closely with the information security and risk manager in ensuring operational effectiveness of controls in order to maintain our Information Security Management System and to ensure that EML is effectively delivering against required information security standards and regulatory requirements. You will assist with improving and maintaining an effective continuous threat and vulnerability monitoring program, responding to incident detection, analysis and remediation activities. The senior IT Security Analyst will have an operational and technical security focus to deliver cybersecurity initiatives. You will provide guidance to the security requirements for technical proposals and specification documents. You will assist the various teams in Technology and business to implement security measures and controls and guide them on ensuring the effective management of these controls to continuously improve our security posture, but also continue to maintain the required risk balance to allow our business users to operate adequately. This will be a permanent, full-time position based in the Sydney office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Be the Subject Matter Expert for cloud and container system security including the review of systems configurations, architecture against appropriate standards and frameworks to ensure control effectiveness. Strong understanding on DevSecOps operations and security controls Strong understanding or infrastructure as code (IaC) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) In-depth understanding of DevSecOps technologies/best practices and stay abreast of current industry trends and emerging technologies. Perform technical security tests, including controls audits, gap assessments, security vulnerability testing, behavioural monitoring and anomaly detection and make rmendations for improvements from findings. Manage cloud-based solutions required to deliver security requirements for EML. Configure and deploy technical tools and controls required to deliver on EML's security and overall technology strategy - particularly focused on cloud environment. Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining and administering new and upgraded networks / systems). Contain threats and prevent security incident's within the EML ecosystem Perform proactive threat hunting using indicators ofpromise to detect potential breaches across networks. ABOUT YOU 3 -5 years hands on experience in a similar role, we're seeking someone who can jump in and support where required. Fantasticmunication skills, you'll be able to translate technology to anyone in the business Deep experience with DevOps security lifecycle and controls Advanced cloud and container skills - Microsoft cloud solutions (O365, Azure), Kubernetes and Docker Demonstrated analytical skills, ability to apply these skills to problems, and solveplex issues Experience working in an operational capacity not in an oversight capacity, must have hands-on experience. Solid experience administering operating systems & various technologies such as, Windows server, Linux, desktops, XDR security, CASB & SIEM technologies. Experience using vulnerability management software Proficient in one or more scripting languages to implement automation initiatives Knowledge of ITIL and AGILE methodology will be highly regarded WHAT WE OFFER We stand together as equals.
