RIVAL COLLECTIVE PTY LTD is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to join our team. As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's procurement activities and ensuring the efficient and cost-effective purchase of goods and services. You will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and optimizing the purchasing process to meet the organization's needs.

Responsibilities Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies and policies Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and conditions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand purchasing requirements and specifications Monitor supplier performance and take necessary steps to address any issues or discrepancies Manage inventory levels and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained at all times Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers Stay updated on market trends, new technologies, and best practices in procurement Conduct regular performance evaluations for procurement staff and provide constructive feedback and training Forecast demand, plan procurement strategies, and monitor procurement budgets Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline purchasing processes and reduce costs Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar purchasing role Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze and interpret procurement and financial data Excellent negotiation and contract management skills Proficient in using procurement software and systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends Ability to travel as required Professional certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) will be preferred.
