As a part of this esteemed firm, you will work alongside other Corporate Partners nationally, collaborating in managing and mentoring a team while serving clients on a range of matters. Your expertise will encompass: Regulated and off-market mergers and acquisitions, Equity capital markets, Back door listings, Corporate advisory, Joint ventures, as well as ASX and Corporations Act compliance. While experience in all these areas is not essential, compatibility with the team will require working across the majority of these practice areas. To thrive in this position, you should have accumulated 10-25 years of post-admission experience, with a substantial portion gained in Brisbane within a specialized M&A firm, mid-tier, or prominent national practice, thereby establishing a robust presence in the corporate arena. Apart from your technical skills, the firm values soft skills that drive client communication and business development. Your ability to generate additional client activities will be crucial. As a Partner (or Special Counsel), you must have the confidence to back yourself, aiming to have supervised fees of $800K to step into the Salaried Partner level role, or $1.6M as the entry point to equity.In exchange for your expertise, this lateral partnership opportunity provides compensation commensurate with your skills and contributions.
