Advertised Vacancy Number: IPS/SS878147This is a permanent part-time (0.5FTE) position commencing Term 2, 2024Hannans Primary School (PS) is seeking a hard-working and dedicated Cleaner to join their friendly team.About the RoleAs cleaner, you will carry out internal cleaning duties, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and other items of general cleaning. In addition to this, you would also carry out external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, cleaning of drinking troughs, removal of cobwebs, other general cleaning and other duties such as required by the Cleaner-In-Charge.The successful applicant should have good communication and interpersonal skills. You should be a highly motivated and proactive person who takes pride in being responsible for providing a high standard of cleanliness within the workplace to provide a visually pleasing and safe learning environment for our students, staff and visitors of the school. The successful applicant should be team focused but able to work independently and with initiative and will ideally be able to follow instructions.Our SchoolHannans PS was established in 1992 to cater for the demand of an expanding Kalgoorlie-Boulder community.
