Department: Department of Families, Fairness and Housing

THE ROLE

The Manager Risk provides expert advice to the department and the Audit and Risk Management Committee on the application of the Victorian Government Risk Management Framework and identification of risk trends and related issues.

Are you: Able to apply risk management to help achieve departmental goals and priorities?A strong, experienced communicator and trainer?Passionate about driving organisational improvement and delivery of high-quality and effective services to the Victorian community?Able to lead organisational change to drive improvement of outcomes and the effective management of strategic and operational risks?Able to establish, develop and maintain effective business relationships with internal and external stakeholders? ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

Strategically plan and manage the implementation of risk management principles, strategies, and processes across assigned divisions of the department.Coordinate and supply regular updates and periodic reporting to the Executive Board.Develop and review policies and processes that guide the department's risk management approach.
