About the opportunity The Executive Manager plays a key role in the achievement of the Retail, Brand & Marketing operational and strategic objectives by providing leadership, direction, advice, and integration across diverse portfolios, and is accountable for the governance and operating rhythm of the function.

The role of Executive Manager requires exceptional communication skills, a high degree of consulting capability, commercial acumen, and the ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organisation.

An important aspect of the role is quickly adjusting and responding to changing requirements and new initiatives while supporting and advising the EGM Retail, Brand & Marketing and Senior Leadership Team in the development and delivery of strategic and operational programs of work in the business unit and more broadly across the Enterprise.

You will be responsible for: Providing a prominent level of business and advisory support to the Executive General Manager Retail, Brand & Marketing and Senior Leadership Team on a diverse range of key strategic and operational initiatives and lead key strategic and operational initiatives as required.Identifying and solving specific problems for the business: structure the problem; identify and conduct the right analysis; and provide recommendations to resolve these issues.Identifying and cultivating strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the business.Supporting and shaping the development of Retail, Brand & Marketing strategic priorities and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for inclusion in the EGM Scorecard and cascade across the function.Working with our Business Partners to coordinate, integrate and deliver the annual and quarterly business planning cycles for the function (including Finance, Capital Investment, Group Risk & Compliance, People & Culture) and provide insights on the outputs to the RB&M and leadership teams. About you Australia Post is seeking a dynamic candidate who possesses exceptional leadership skills, commercial acumen, and a passion for driving change and achieving results. This role requires someone who can navigate a complex and evolving organization, driving strategic initiatives while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and agility.

Demonstrated experience in a strategic leadership role, such as Chief of Staff, Executive Manager, Strategy, Planning or Consulting is essential to effectively support organizational leadership and drive strategic initiatives. Experience in coordination and preparation of Board papers and business cases is highly desirable as is past experience in Retail and/or FMCG.
