JOB DESCRIPTION FOR STORE KEEPERHere are major tasks, duties, and responsibilities that typically make up the construction site storekeeper job description:Maintaining and keeping track of receipts, records of inward materials and outward materials.To ensure GRN to be prepared on timely basis.To ensure of challan must signed & stamp at security gate.Executing other stock-related duties which may include returning.Examining and reviewing deliveries for discrepancies and damages and reporting to necessary personnel for reimbursements and record keepingInspecting the construction site and ensuring that all construction material are used in proper manner.Answering questions regarding procedures and resolving issues that may arise on receipts, deliveries, warranties, repairs, and surplus supply.Proper stock maintaining and handling.Regular follow up with vendor for material delivery at site.Daily basis material summary records.Regular chat and communicate with Engineers at site Day to day contact with accounts and purchase dept. For any query.Keep updated record of material issues to contractorsKnowledge of MS-office, excel, Word, ERP. PRB
