Investment Analyst - Startup Ecosystem (India)Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Investment Analyst to join our team, focusing on analysing investment opportunities in the rapidly growing startup ecosystem in India. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing new investments, monitoring market trends, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance our investment portfolio.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive analysis on startup companies, including financial modelling, market research, and competitive analysis to evaluate investment viability.Engage with startup founders and other stakeholders to gather insights and assess business potential.Prepare detailed reports and presentations for the investment committee to support decision-making processes.Monitor existing investments and industry trends to provide timely updates and strategic recommendations.Collaborate with cross functional teams, including legal and financial advisors, to conduct due diligence.Participate in networking events and forums to represent the company and identify new investment opportunities.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) is preferred.Minimum of 23 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, or financial analysis, with a specific focus on the startup ecosystem.Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial statements and valuation techniques. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines. Familiarity with the startup environment and investment landscape in India.
