Job Overview: The Software Engineer II designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for new products, new features and software enhancements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Mastery of software systemsProficient at architecture and design of new products, integrations and featuresProficient at complex programming exercising independence and discretion while working independently.Act as the technical subject matter expert for a product domain and act as the technical leader within a team.Work independently to create new products, new features, implement software enhancements, correct defects.Set the direction for design and implementation of software features/functionality, correction of defects.creation of new productsDocuments and communicates on complex technical topics outside the immediate development team.Interact with customer users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.History of success working within a team environmentTakes ownership of customer issues and effectively communicates with SEs/Support/Customer to resolve field.Interacts & consults with Product Management to address customer's functional concerns and problems,and above the technical concerns.
