Art Director - Digital Design (UX / UI)

Art DirectorPosition Type: Contracted Location: HYBRID in TorontoAnticipated Compensation Rate: $59.20/hour T4Job Description: The Brand Innovation Lab (BIL) team at a large Fortune 500 tech client of Apex Systems is seeking a multi-talented Art Director/Designer to create innovative, and bar-raising campaigns that drive business results for the worlds leading brands across Canada. If this is you - You're a Swiss Army Knife of a creative talent, who is just as comfortable ideating big concepts as you are rolling up your sleeves and executing highly-crafted design deliverables, across multiple digital channels. You also have experience in UX and working with developers to build beautiful and intuitive micro-sites/landing pages; you are also comfortable using all of the tools of the trade, including new AI platforms. You'll be working along side an energetic team of other creatives, developers, and project managers, while collaborating with sales teams, and internal partners!Specific Responsibilities:Brainstorm big never-been-done-before concepts (examples: Alexa, Twitch, etc).Design all brand campaign elements (from landing pages to boxes to pop-up events to hero banners).Design pitch decks and proposals, including high-quality mocks.Present all work to senior clients and senior internal leaders.Participate in client outreach presentations, and workshops.Must Have Qualifications:5+ years of working experience within a creative agency environment. Expert working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.UX and UI Design experience. An online portfolio of work that demonstrates both conceptual thinking and highly crafted design.3D Design exp (preferred, huge plus).Motion Design exp in Adobe After Effects (preferred).Team-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.Self-starter who is customer-obsessed, and detail-oriented.
