Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a UI/UX Designer in downtown Vancouver. The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for:Creating Designs, wireframes, storyboards, and user flow for web-based products to effectively communicate design ideas. Designing UI visuals and interactive assets interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and drive engagement. Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.Optimizing and simplifying the user experience and the design of the user interface.Make strategic design and user experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.Creating a structured approach to maintain design systems, style guides, and UI libraries.Working in close collaboration with the development team to integrate them into the design workflow process and meet timelines. Qualifications5+ years experience in designing web and mobile-based products and have a strong understanding of effective user experiences and user interface design.Proficient in Figma and prototyping tools and strong skills in visual design.Deep understanding of responsive design.Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and process. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.Be excited about collaborating and communicating to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.Strong attention to detail.Knowledge of current design trends and best practices.Knowledge of the Capital market is a plus.If this sounds like an ideal role for you then apply with an up-to-date resume and portfolio.
