Manager, System Administration

Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic Manager, Systems Infrastructure to spearhead our team of senior technical experts in an Agile environment.We're seeking someone with extensive Azure experience to manage both cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure across multiple regions.Location: Toronto, with a Hybrid work model.Reporting to: Director, Infrastructure Operations & SupportResponsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of skilled System Administrators.Ensure high-quality delivery of work assignments meeting SLAs.Oversee daily operations, including incident management, system monitoring, and change requests.Drive automation initiatives for infrastructure provisioning.Experience with cloud infrastructure migration and operation.Manage service offerings, SLAs, and capacity planning.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical projects.Establish and enforce technology standards and processes.Provide technical support for escalated incidents.Coordinate hardware and software installation.Participate in audits and enforce data security measures.Coach and mentor team members for growth and development.Your Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience.Minimum 2+ years of people management experience. Proven experience of managing people including hiring, performance appraisal, etc a MUSTMinimum 8 years in a senior technical role.At least 4 years in a leadership position.Extensive experience with Windows and Linux Servers.Proficiency in scripting, automation, and orchestration technologies.Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS.Knowledge of monitoring and performance tuning tools.Experience with Active Directory, File systems, Exchange server, Backup software, etc. Financial Services,Information Services
