Our team consists of highly experienced dental instructors, technology experts, and a wide range of professionals all dedicated to helping you succeed as a dentist in Canada.Job Description:Our Maintenance and Facility Department is offering an opportunity for a Dental Equipment Technician. This role will provide hands-on experience in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues related to semi-medical machines used in dental clinics and laboratories. The ideal candidate will work closely with experienced technicians to assist in assembling, disassembling, and moving equipment as well as maintaining accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.Responsibilities:1. Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues of semi-medical equipment.2. Support in assembling, disassembling, and moving dental equipment efficiently and safely.3. Learn to utilize mobile apps and Microsoft Office tools for documenting work, tracking inventory, and communicating with team members.4. Shadow experienced technicians to observe effective communication with dentists and lab personnel regarding equipment issues and solutions.5. Demonstrate proficiency in English communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and external stakeholders.6. Demonstrate flexibility in undertaking various tasks within the Maintenance and Facility Department as needed.7. Assist in maintaining accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and servicing.8. Participate in training sessions to stay updated with advancements in dental equipment technology.Requirements:1. Interest in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in semi-medical equipment.2. Willingness to learn to assemble, disassemble, and move equipment.3. Basic familiarity with mobile apps and Microsoft Office for documentation and communication purposes.4. Proficient English communication skills, both verbal and written.5. Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to learn and grow in a professional environment.6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.7.
