- The post holder will need the necessary skills to be able to communicate complicated medication issues to patients and carers in order that they may understand and make best use of their medicines.
- The post holder must display an understanding and ability to communicate and deal with all patients and/or carers some of whom may have language, sensory or learning difficulties, or who may be dying or distressed because of their diagnosis or state of health.
- Awareness of own limitations.
- Good Clinical Knowledge.
- Knowledge of JAC dispensing system and other clinical systems.
- Must be physically able to visit wards and departments across the Trust as required by the activities of the job.
- Willing and able to travel throughout the Wakefield District area to cover community services roles.
