IT Support Engineer

Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for solving technical challenges and providing exceptional support to users? If you have a minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support and possess a diverse skill set that includes expertise in backup solutions, Windows, Linux, Azure, and O365, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Position: IT Support Engineer Job Summary: As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's IT infrastructure and providing timely technical assistance to our users. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of IT-related tasks, troubleshooting issues, and implementing effective solutions to enhance the overall efficiency of our systems. Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive IT support to end-users via various channels, including in-person, email, and phone.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Collaborate with team members to implement IT projects and upgrades.
Administer and maintain backup solutions to safeguard critical data and ensure data integrity.
Manage and troubleshoot Windows and Linux-based systems to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize your expertise in Azure and O365 to support cloud-based applications and services.
Create and update technical documentation to streamline support processes.
Assist in maintaining IT security protocols and measures to protect sensitive information.
Participate in on-call support rotations as needed to address urgent IT incidents outside regular business hours.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support or a related field.
Proficiency in backup solutions, with hands-on experience in data backup and recovery procedures.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and cloud computing concepts.
Experience in supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
A team player with a customer-centric approach to IT support.

Preferred Qualifications:

Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, or other relevant certifications would be a plus.
Experience in managing and supporting virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
