Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for the role, Product and Technology Director - Electronics Company. We are seeking an experienced and innovative Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead an electronics company's technical strategy and drive innovation in their product development. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, English communication skills, expertise in embedded solutions (Linux systems), knowledge in IoT, artificial intelligence and proficiency in C#/.NET programming.   • Technology Strategy: Develop and execute the company's technical vision and roadmap, aligning it with business goals and objectives. Provide visionary leadership for the company's technical direction, overseeing all aspects of technology development, implementation, and innovation.
  • Leadership: Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Embedded Solutions: Drive the design, development, and deployment of embedded systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Embedded Linux Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of embedded Linux environments to make informed decisions, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
  • Programming Proficiency: Utilize your expertise in C#/.NET to develop and maintain software applications that enhance our products and services.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments to identify opportunities for technological improvements and efficiencies throughout the organization.
  • Research and innovation: Keeping up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in order to propose innovative solutions and maintain a competitive edge. In addition to identifying opportunities for innovation and advancement in electronic product offerings.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance, review code, and ensure the implementation of best practices in software and hardware development.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement robust testing methodologies to ensure the reliability and security of all technology solutions.
  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and timely delivery of technology projects within budgetary and resource constraints.
  • Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with technology partners, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the electronics industry.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Expertise in embedded solutions, including architecture design, hardware-software integration, and performance optimization.
  • Extensive experience with embedded Linux systems and familiarity with real-time operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of IoT technologies and their application in electronics products.
  • In-depth knowledge of artificial intelligence and its integration into consumer electronics.
  • Proficiency in C#/.NET programming for application development and integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
  • Strategic thinking to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage technical teams effectively.
  • A history of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes and standards for electronics products.
