Flow Measurement Specialist

We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in dynamic flow measurement equipment, instrument calibration to fiscal standards, flow computer calculation audits, meter prover calibration, field maintenance, upgrading of systems, training, and project execution and management.

Job Description

• Operate the system within the fiscal accuracy limits.
• Audit all flow calculations to ensure that these adhere to API MPMS.
• Checking of Linearity and repeatability of Meters andestablishing characterization of the meter curves with respect to the effects of varying viscosities of crude oil.
• Calculate overall Metering System accuracy based upon meter tracking and field instrument calibrations.
• Review and record Meter factors as a guide of overall performance of the meters.
• Review and record sampler performance as a guide of overall performance of the samplers.
• Conduct the Measurement Audits.
• Prepare Meter-tracking files for each meter, audit Maintenance Activities, Review calibration and maintenance reports.
• Monitor changes to API standards and their impact on the Metering system.
• Witness calibration of the Company's Meter Provers and the "Third party inspection company transfer standards” to ensure that calibrations are traceable to an acceptable NIST or International Standard.
• Attend / witness Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) or fulfil such requirements connected with Metering Systems/Flow measurements systems of any manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Qualification: B.Sc. Engineering in Instrumentation or equivalent
• Number of Years of Experience: Minimum 16 Year's
