Head of Compliance (PCF 12 & 52) - Fixed Term Contract Are you interested in joining Aon on a fixed term contract, where you can support our compliance culture within Aon Solutions Ireland Limited whilst acting as the key compliance business partner for Aon’s Retirement and Investment Solution Line based in Ireland? If so, this may be the role for you! This is a fixed term contract where one can improve and enrich their skills through broad and varied tasks. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Dublin or Cork offices . - Provide regular and timely compliance reporting and management information to the ASIL Board, Executive Management and other relevant forums
- Provide assurance, guidance and evidence to the ASIL Board that all compliance risk and regulatory matters are being appropriately handled and supervised in line with regulatory requirements and expectations
- Ensure that all regulatory reports, business requirements and notifications are submitted to the Central Bank of Ireland on a timely basis and in accordance with CBI expectations
- Lead and implement a robust risk-based compliance monitoring programme, record and communicate findings appropriately and report findings to the ASIL Board
- Assist with the implementation of an effective compliance communication and training plan consistent with Aon’s global compliance training and communication initiatives to ensure that compliance policies and procedures are effectively cascaded to R&I Colleagues
- Implement R&I specific compliance policies and procedures
- Stay a head of current compliance and regulatory risks, as well as changes to the local regulatory environment and best practices which may affect ASIL and the compliance programme. Also, identify and interpret relevant requirements/changes in order to provide advice and support to R&I c olleagues to enable them to comply.
- Assist where required with broader initiatives within the wider Aon Ireland Solution lines and on a regional level
- Ensure that issues raised by Internal Audit, External Audit and any other similar bodies are remediated
- Actively participate in Global/Regional Compliance calls/meetings and follow-up on actions agreed
- Assisting the business in relation to capital markets transactions .
- Develop a network of contacts within Aon, both in Ireland and globally, in line with Aon’s ‘Delivering Aon United’ initiative
- Third level d egree or equivalent
- Recognised compliance qualification
- Experience working in a MiFID firm with detailed knowledge and understanding of the Central Bank of Ireland’s MiFID requirements and Codes of Business Conduct
- Proven practical knowledge and experience in compliance management
- Experience of providing investment services on a cross border basis
- Communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels within an organisation
