Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) is a solutions-led business for the demands of mid-sized and emerging corporates. We're currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Emerging Corporates Business Development Officer (Regional) based in Singapore. This role supports the Emerging Corporates (EC) International Head and the Singapore Head of Emerging Corporates in the sales management and data analytics that help in the formulation and implementation of CCB's APAC and Global EC strategy. The role will also support the EC Asia Head in his additional role as EC Head for International markets. The incumbent will provide thought leadership and work on analytical projects to address strategic topics for the EC client segment including but not limited to:
- Helping in the development and execution of a regional and global business development strategy
- Data Analytics
- Conduct focused industry studies
- Prospecting and client calling (in Singapore)
- Presentations to seniors etc.
- Participating in initiatives to enhance branding & visibility, improving client experience
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- 5-8 years relevant commercial banking experience
- Good record of proactively building relationships with product and credit review/approval partners
- Ability to work effectively in team setting, excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Passion for creating new business opportunities with existing clients and able to demonstrate innovative approaches to meeting clients' needs.
- A proactive approach in looking for ways in strengthening business relationship with clients, delivers a simple, secure and seamless client experience
- Able to quickly adapt priorities based on the latest data insights
