Position overview: BDM responsible for helping SmartQ obtain better brand recognition and financial growth . BDM coordinate with SmartQ executives and sales & marketing professionals to review current market trends in order to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins. SmartQ is looking to create interesting and creative offerings for local organizers and venues across the city. What you will be doing:
- Responsible to expand our presence in Live Events pan India and for developing partnerships with the local organizers, venues and partners and assist in expediting the deal closures and achieve customer delight.
- Responsible for maintaining assigned client relationships. Interact with internal teams for the smooth flow of each event listing marketing initiatives and payments.
- Point of contact for all Small/Medium scale organizers for the smooth & easy functioning of the accounts and documentation
- Responsible for resolving and replying to queries. Managing incoming customer service queries
- Identify and assess organizer/venue needs, collect feedback and share them to relevant teams to achieve customer delight.
- Develop a pipeline of qualified leads through networking and marketing activities.
- Source, onboard, and draft and execute contracts for new event venues and vendors and manage relationships and listings data for existing venues and vendors.
- Curate five-star experiences for our corporate event customers.
- Employ solid prospecting skills to identify new vendors and venues, and key decision makers.
- Generate product marketing and sales pitch decks to grow sales.
- Effectively collaborate and communicate with sales managers and the Operations, Accounting, and Tech Support teams.
- Settle any and all customer complaints through investigations with Operations team and develop solutions to satisfy customers.
- Excellent communication and effective negotiation skills
- Ability to generate pipeline by doing smart prospecting
- Passion to achieve quarterly and yearly targets
- Has ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and handle pressure in a challenging environment
- Ability to work autonomously within a team in a dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal and personal presentation skills
- 5+ years of business development experience
- 1-2 years of closing experience
- Must be extremely skillful in pitching to customers and negotiating deals
- Ability to multi-task with extraordinary attention to detail
- Must have worked in the Events Industry and have good connects
