In 1967, Mr. Eugenio Puyat introduced bowling in the Philippines. He is the founder of the company, AMF-Puyat Bowling and Billiard Centers, the exclusive Philippine distributor of AMF bowling and billiard products. Behind AMF-Puyat are the brothers Jose G. Puyat and Aristeo G. Puyat, who are carrying on the legacy of their late grandfather, Don Gonzalo Puyat. Currently, AMF-Puyat owns and operates 10 world-class bowling and billiard centers in the country. Among the facilities of the centers are snack bars, which are operated restaurant/fast food styles.
