Engineer (Contracts Advisory)

Position Description

We are seeking for an Engineer with good experience in plant maintenance, planning and schedule activities, as a contract advisor, to join the Southern Area Technical Support Division (SATSD).

SATSD provides specialized technical support services, conducts assessments, and monitors several aspects of performance to SAOO organizations. These services are carried out while devoting a special focus to the sustained fruitful use of best practice; which should lead to improved plant integrity, efficiency, reliability, and cost effectiveness; and enable SAOO Organizations to achieve the highest levels of operational excellent. Minimum Requirements

As a successful candidate you should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering. Master degree in construction management, economics, MBA, accounting is desirable.

You must have a minimum of 10 years' experience, mainly in cost engineering and contracts advisory. It should be devoted to petrochemical, refinery, pipeline, or power generation projects. Duties and Responsibilities

You are required to perform the following:

Develop maintenance processes in line with TPRM such as preventive maintenance, construction equipment requirement etc.

Leads a team which responsible for field-wide planning, scheduling execution of all major T&Is.

Prepare engineering report on maintenance activities/methods and means for their improvement.

Coordinate and/or participate in the development of contracts for various services.

Coordinate or participates in the verification of contractor costs and the preparation of cost escalation or de-escalation amendments.
