**About this opportunity**This position reports to Front Office Manager. To monitor and manage Core network alarm events, service outage, network performance deterioration, customer complaint from alarm panel, constant monitor and analyze network performance consistently. This also includes providing customer concern and notification of Minor, Critical and Major incidents/outages.**What you will do**- Monitor alarms and performance information on the 24x7 basis.- Perform initial analysis to identify issues follow by restoration if possible (1st line of Support).- Perform periodical network backups and health checks to determine network status.- Respond to Network Customer Support Team within agreed SLA time frame.- Create and update/manage trouble tickets for any detected problem.- Ensure all docket information are capture in activity log- Managing technical critical issue to ensure faults is rectified within agreed SLAs.- Perform Issue and Notification to keep management and other business units informed during system outages.- Assist the FO shift leader in producing activity report for KPI calculation.- Check and certified new network elements to be commissioned in operation environment within agreed KPI.- Assist the operation team in process improvement and ongoing development of tools and system.- Ensure proper work progress, shift handover, data communication, team work spirit etc.- Working as shift Lead when required.- Should have good understanding of MSS (Blade Cluster), ITSC nodes (International Switch) STP (IP-STP), MGW (Amos), MPBN and IP probes nodes from Core perspective- Monitor performance dashboard deviations observed for OB/IB/Roaming issue and analyze the cause and then increase accordingly with proper details.- Monitor Network KPIs for NER/ASR/ACT issues- Perform multitasking during node isolation and in blocking issue process- Should have good knowledge in transport technologies like STM/ATM/IP to transfer User Plane Data across the backbone of the GSM/WCDMA network including SDH/PDH/Switches/Routers towards like nodes BSC/RNC/PLMN/PSTN/SIP/MME/HSS.- From IN point of view should have basic knowledge in Ericsson Charging System Network elements likewise SDP (Service Data Point), AIR (Account Information and Refill), OCC (Online Charging Control), CCN (Charging Control Node), VS (Voucher Server) and ECMS (Ericsson Customer Management System)- Should be responsible in tackling and advancing the complaints related to charging nodes to concern BO teams in close coordination.- Perform close monitoring of all IN nodes and call out alarms as per the severity to concern BO team by assigning Ticket.- Understand and take the ownership of bringing up Core and Charging System alarms based on appropriate severities on timely basis without any delay.- Participate and support on business continuity from inside/out of NOC premises to handle any emergency infrastructure issues any time.- Need to complete the assigned task of testing National and International E1s during the special events of Ramadan and Hajj.- Perform daily check on pending alarms and follow up accordingly for clearance.- Should be able to understand various request/queries from customer management & should be ready to fulfill at any time.- Should have good understanding in handling reconciliation issues raised by revenue assurance teams.- Should be able to perform active monitoring & it's required during all time especially during special events & to make sure no services being affected.- Coordinating with the other operators & Transmission teams for Node isolation cases.**You will bring**- Good knowledge in written and spoken English- Good communication skills- Good in analytic and investigation technique- Flexible and responsive to changing work patterns and demands- Must be able to work to tight time scales- Focused on network (service) performance- Good knowledge in MS-Excel- Excellent great teammate- Technical Competence- Good knowledge about Ericsson Core CS and IN systems- Good knowledge of the network topology, its traffic handling capabilities and traffic characteristics.- Should have basic knowledge of Control network i.e system, HW/SW and basic troubleshooting skills- Need to have basic knowledge of Ericsson Nodes (MSC/GMSC/STP/HLR/HSS/Intl Switches)- Basic knowledge on CS Nodes (SDP, AIR, NGVS, OCC, CCN)!- Should be able to understand performance report.- Need to have basic Conceptual Knowledge on Packet core nodes (GGSN, SGSN, SAPC, Site Routers and Site Switches)!- Good knowledge about network operation center processes and interfaces.- Should be able to monitor Network KPI during the activities & supporting the activity executors.- Perform continuous daily audit on alarms counts for all domains & follow up with concerned teams to clear it as part for customer requirement.- Should be able to handle, intensify and follow up outages related to National and International
