If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Corporate Security Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our organization's assets, employees, and stakeholders. You will oversee and manage security operations, implement strategies to mitigate risks, and develop policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment. Your leadership will be essential in coordinating security personnel, implementing security technologies, and responding effectively to security incidents.- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and protocols to safeguard company assets, facilities, and personnel.- Oversee day-to-day security operations, including security personnel deployment, access control, and surveillance systems.- Coordinate with internal departments to assess security risks and develop mitigation plans accordingly.- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to ensure a timely and effective response to security incidents.- Manage relationships with external security vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective security solutions.- Provide security awareness training to employees and conduct regular drills to promote a culture of security awareness.- Stay informed about emerging security threats and trends, and make recommendations for proactive measures to mitigate risks.- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure security operations comply with relevant laws and regulations.- Prepare and present reports on security operations, incidents, and performance metrics to senior management.Required Technical and Professional Expertise- Bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) preferred.- Proven experience in corporate security management, with a minimum of X years in a leadership role.- Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies, including access control systems, CCTV surveillance, and physical security measures.- Experience developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate security teams.- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess security risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners to achieve security objectives.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to corporate security.- Flexibility to respond to security incidents outside of regular business hours, as needed.Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseAbout Business UnitIBM Corporate Headquarters (CHQ) team represents a variety of functions such as marketing, finance, legal, operations, HR, and more, all working together to solve some of the world's most complex problems, help our clients achieve success and build collaborative work environments for IBMers.Being an IBMer means you'll be able to learn and develop yourself and your career, you'll be encouraged to be courageous and experiment everyday, all whilst having continuous trust and support in an environment where everyone can thrive whatever their personal or professional background.Our IBMers are growth minded, always staying curious, open to feedback and learning new information and skills to constantly transform themselves and our company.
